You seem to have missed the part where I said I dont give a fuck. People are going to give you a reach around telling you how much they care but in the end they dont have to live your life or deal with you or even know you. Whatever, I have to goto bed so I can get up for work tomorrow.

This whole pharmaceutical companies brainwashing us to buy their products stuff I keep hearing; I"m not buying it. People are people, and business is business. Companies offer a product, and it is up to the consumer to decide whether they choose to purchase it or not. No one forces anyone to do something they don't want to do. Every medication comes with accompaning warnings and lists of side effects. There is no dupe involved. Big suprise, this country is run by corporations and corporations are going to try to make money. That's the way of the world.

I think the internet is what's really hurting the OP. He has access to so much shitty information about the world, and he's addicted to misery. I think pulling the plug from the internet is the first step in solving this problem. Better yet, shut off your cable as well. Force yourself to sit and think, and I guarantee you the answers will eventually come. This clouding your brain with information is only making you more confused. I would take some time to figure this problem out without any outside influences.

there is a difference between choosing your own spaghetti sauce, and being duped to believe that mental diseases have been figured out, and that they have pills to cure it.... especially when you have a supposedly scientific community endorsing it and using the trust that people give to scientists to sell products, especially when you know for a fact that their product kills people or causes great physical side-effects.

Wow, my step-mother has told me several times that I'm addicted to misery. I believe both of you, my mother is like this too. If something isn't going to go wrong, we worry about what is. What convinced me of this is, she used to always turn the music down and listen to her car and be like "what's that noise". I do the same thing. I've often been told that create problems in my head by my step-mother as well.

I also have been very addicted to the internet since I was 13, I was really big into video games, and the whole nerd/computing scene until around the time my father passed. Since then I've lost interest in all of that, but still spent the better part of the day on the internet. The past week I have been trying to keep my time on the internet to less than 2 hours a day, but that is very hard for me.

You know, back when everything wasn't falling apart, I used to think that ADD was bullshit, and I just didn't have the... self-control I guess to force my mind to pay attention to what is needed.

I also don't want to fix myself with drugs, actually I refuse to take something on a daily basis. I wouldn't mind a little xanax right now to calm my nerves, but I'm pretty set on not trying to not take drugs of any sort, for recreational or not, for quite some time.

Whoever is taking medication because they think it is an end all cure to their problems isn't taking the medication properly, and should not be taking it at all. Anyone who has made the decision to take an anti-depressant should be educated enough on the product to realize that it isn't a cure, but merely a tool to align their brain chemistry to a point where they can more logically and with a clearer head work through their problems without the fogginess and irrational thought patterns that depression brings upon the mind.

To me, it's not the drugs that are the problem, it's the people who misuse them who need to be altered.

there is no proof that shows that "chemical imbalances" in the brain cause mental "diseases".

I'm changing too many things in my life to be certain what really is making a difference. Exercise, Eating more, no pot, and this whole thinking "I can just snap out of this, and change myself" is working wonders, my depression hasn't subsided, but my anxiety is completely gone today. That makes everything so much easier, I can sit and actually figure out what emotions I'm feeling, and why they are there, instead of just shitting bricks and acting like a child.

lol. 2 true, but what ive realized is that with or without a job there comes stress from life. But when i didn't have a job the stress intensified cause i was around everybody a lot and there was more pressure on me to get a 9-5 job like everyone else. Getting a job probably will help and winning the lottery probably will too. But wont u be happy either way?

Keep doing the no weed thing and focus on your diet, do some research on what foods will help your brain and body,
try to be more active. It will definitely help with anxiety and depression.

If you can't keep a job, then go to job and family service and file for medicaid.  You get on united health care and psychologists, psychiatrists, and meds are 100% free.  They will even give you 30 rides per year round trip.

Also.......dude......just fuckin breath.  You are a hypochondriac it seems.  You can not self diagnose a mental illness like this.

Go see a therapist, then go see another therapist after about 6 months and see how it goes.

You really could have a number of things that could be physical causing this shit.  You go to the dentist lately?  You'd be surprised how fucked a fucked up mouth can make a person.  You have any blood work done?

Do you do yoga, breathwork, or exercise?  Have you thought about the possibility you have a food allergy?  Maybe you aren't taking in enough calories or your timing on eating is poor and your portions and food groups are wrong.

You need balance to be balanced.
