wheat straw?????????

so i called around every where and no one has wheat straw . every one says its out of season i know i could get it online i just would rather get it localy. so my question is does anybody know what i can use instead of wheat straw...i mean will any straw do ? will it have the same effects? so if anyone could tell me what can be used instead and maybe some sites online to get wheat straw i could concider my options?

I dont think other straws work near as good as the wheat straw.

Is wheat straw the same stuff as I see in big bales all over along the highways, the golden colored stuff......?
