well i never
    #7182309 - 07/16/07 06:44 AM (17 years, 6 months ago)

just finished a batch of cakes growing mazatapec and felt loathed to just throw away the finished cakes so i decided to try burying them in the garden. i live in the uk so didn’t for one minute think that anything would happen but our weather at the moment has been warm and very wet. So low and behold i went out into the garden today to see a little cluster of the buggers growing, granted it was only 15g and they were very ugly but there they were there! along with a fat stem that had obviously had the top eaten (some bird or snail must be having the time of its life) just thought that i would post as it is quite unusual to be able to cultivate outside in the uk, just hoping for some more haha

yeah I wonder how that works in nature. Like im sure psilobin affects animals, but I wonder what would happen to a bird or something that came along and ate an active mushroom.

if you think about it, a human weighing 70 kilograms eats 4 grams to trip pretty hard. a bird weighing 5 kilograms eating 4 grams would be totally out of it. lol

yeah i wonder if it actually kills the animal or anything, like too much for the brain of such a small organism to handle.. I wonder if there is a shroomery topic about hallucinogens and animals.

Ive seen my cat eat mushrooms, aside from looking kinda confused a few times during the trip she seemed to have the time of her life, she spend half the trip acting like she was chasing invisible birds and the other half just sitting near me and my gf with her eyes half open playing and purring so loud she was practically growling.... I don't think she ever looked so happy ever,I mean she was definitely in on our trip with us,it was fun:rockon:

Since than I have caught her stealing mushrooms 4 times, and I have also found them in odd places around the house as if she stole them from where they were drying so she could eat them later, this may be the wrong theory though seeing as she doesn't smoke and will steal every lighter in the house and hide it under the couch so who knows what she is thinking:dielaughing:

Awesome story! one time while tripping my friends dog went to town eating shroom laden puke and started tripping balls, I've never seen a dog run in circles so fast in my life! It seemed to be having the time of its life too! and at one point as we were coming down we chained it back up and it got tangled in the chain when we didn't notice, it made the funkiest sound I have ever heard an animal make. It sounded like it was trying to talk!!

Ill say this the tripping cat seemed to have a better time than when my friend had a party and everyone was in the backyard drinking and kept pouring their beer in an upside down garbage can lid for her dog to drink,it was a giant dog but I swear I bet through out the coarse of the evening it drank a fuggin 12 pack:dielaughing:

The poor thing crawled down her basement stairs at the end of the evening using nothing but its front legs as if it couldn't get its back legs to work and than curled up in a ball and pissed all over the carpet

Thats actually kind of a sad story (the dog). The cat one was funny. When I was in high school I had this huge 3 day party, I kept my dog upstairs for the first 2 nights, the last night he escaped and was hanging out with everyone there. The next morning while cleaning, I could tell he was fucked up, I was finding a lot of E pills, some weed, beer was all over the floor, and his whole bag of treats was ripped open and there was none left. I was scared for his life, because he would just lay there with a blank stare on his face. I think he was tripping on E because I found like 14 pills. He seemed better on day three. Heres a picture of the little bastard.

Glad to hear he is OK,ppl are irresponsible assholes most of the time especially when booze is involved,I think tripping with an animal is OK if the dose is small and you INCLUDE them in your trip, when it comes up to you pet it and have fun with it,when it wants to run and be left alone leave it be for a while, talk to it and make it part of the fun,if you ignore it and leave it lonely or shun it away or fuck with it its not going to have any fun and than you go from having fun and sharing with your pet to an asshole animal abuser

Yeah I hear that, I was pist, because I had no idea that people were  rolling on E at my house, I canceled the party that night and just watched my dog, and made sure he was alright. I would cry if he died.

I was hitting the bong once at the park by the pond there and they have trained geese that you can pet. Well I was leaning on my car hitting the bong and a goose walked up. I was pretty stoned most of the time I run from them but this time I filled the bong up to the top with smoke and offered it to the goose. He stuck his beak down into the bong like he was trying to get some food then he pulled it out and I took the shot gun for him and filled it back up and he stuck his head in it again. We did this a few time and I talked with the goose and left. The next week I came back with the bong and the same goose and one of his friends showed up and they both hit the bong. I was like shit you telling all your friends I got the hook up here we are going to have trouble. But I think it was his girl so it was cool.
