From Field to Indoors Experiment

I recently went on a hunt to my favorite field and found enough cubes for a nice trip. I wanted to bring home a nice cow pattie to experiment on, but all the cubes were growing from pretty much fully decomposed to the ground patties. I finally found one fully colonized covered in white pattie growing in a clump of grass. After picking the 2 cubes growing from it I managed to get several pieces of colonized poo. I then found a pattie with no shrooms and no mycelium in it. I made sure it was a pretty old one. I took this home also.
Upon arriving home I took my shrooms, smoked a blunt, and set to work on my experiment. While coming up nicely I took a tupperware container and made a nice casing for the colonized poo out of the uncolonized pattie. I had a bit left over so I took a large glass and cased the little mycelium I had left in it. I sprayed both with tap water to get the water consistency correct. I then put plastic wrap over these and poked some holes so they could breathe. I placed these on a wooden shelf in my bathroom. The way my apartment is made, my water heater is in a little outdoor room connected to my apartment. This shelf is somewhat warmed by the heat from the water heater because it is actually directly over it.
I had a nice trip that night and had to leave my apartment for 3 days to spend some time with my girlfriend. When I got back I noticed that growth in the Tupperware container is really taking off. The top even has colonization on it. Growth in the jar is slower due to less mycelium but I can see strands branching out into the new poo.
Hopefully this experiment will work and I'll get some nice fruits! I also have one small jar of whole brown rice that I injected with my last cc and and a half of Brazilian strain spores. This was 5 days ago and I can see some white mycelial growth in it. This is my 1st successful indoor grow so far, although I have transplated a pattie to my back yard a long time ago and that worked. I will try to get some pics! Hopefully one of my friends has a digital camera.
Good luck cultivating and experimenting! Patrick

I got some pics with my picture phone. The quality isn't great but atleast you can see what I've got going on. The 1st pic is the shelf I've been keeping the shroms on. The 2nd is the casing I made and the 3rd is my Brazilian strain jar. All are still growing very well, no contams yet.
