Anyone tried being hypnotised so that touching a cretain crystal or object could trigger of psychedelic experience.

If the subject has had a previous experience, a post hypnotic suggesting can be used to re-induce the state at any time, if the subject is agreeable. You cannot force an experience on an unsuspecting subject.

The Idea was so you could enter these states without drugs sorta like meditation
so that you could enter states beyond what any drug can do. I have had dreams where i have taken some acid or shrooms and being tripping in my dreams. Just thorght it would be cool to do this when i am awake.

I've had dreams where I was tripping too! It's weird, and I guess you might be able to do the same thing with hypnotism. I think it would be pretty hard to keep the state of mind for a long time though. It'ld be kind of like a flashback.

I was on a cruise. They had a stage hypnotist. The dude picked out like 20 people i think. I was really drunk at the time and he picked me.
On the stage they put on some fucked up music. And the dude started talken to everyone telling us to clear our mind and what not. I did not fall under, but i did get a little spaced out. He came aroudn to test to see if they where "asleep" and he like moved my arm and it startled me. he told me to go sit down. only 5 of the 20 stayed on the stage.
He made them do a few things and the people did it. He told one guy he was the police, and there was a new law he needs to enforce. No talking, and if they talk you yell at them in chinese or somthing to that extent. The dude went along with it. He told them marijauana had become legal and that they could smoke now. He gave them a straw and said it was ajoint. The indian guy, and 2 others acted like it was a joint and puffed on it. the rest wouldnt take it ahaha.
i think some of them might of been faking it i dunno. i cant remember the dudes name that did it. He was on a carnival cruise ship and had a mini mullet. I believe he said he was from canada too.
The next day he had a talk about hypnosis. it was after bingo. i listened to it for a bit,b ut it was boring.

Well, this doesn't really answer your question but it might be interesting. A couple of weeks ago I was hypnotized (to get rid of my chronic headaches; so far didn' t help me) and I felt a bit strange but I don't know if I was really 'under hypnosis'.
But I think some people could definitely (re)experience a psychedelic experience while under hypnosis.

I guess the only thing to do now is find a willing hypnotist. Guess I will wait till
uni and try and find someone there.

Hi,
This is not only possible there is a trademarked process for recreating the state and amping it up till you get the full effects back, from there it would be simple to anchor it. Or you could just anchor it the next time you are taking your favorite drug.

Well, I'm interested in experimentation. There is a form of hypnosis that was practiced in Europe, called Hypnodelic therapy - hypnosis while under the influence of a psychedelic. I am a Diplomate in Clinical Hypnotherapy - NBCCH (I've been practicing hypnosis since 1989). Alas for space-time! My recliner is across the Atlantic.

iv succellfully hynotised myslef, while reading a book on self hypnosis.
iv succefully got rid of a phobia i had from blinking blue lights made by a truma i had while in police questoning when i was 15 (about pot... look at what we need ot go through...)
.
iv worked on the skill of hypnotising myself, and got better at it after a few weeks and hten got rid of the subjection (i think its the right word...)
for practice i worked on my body, for example making my hand lift itself and feeling like flying.
the process of getting to the relxed state when u in a trance like mode is very similar in hypnosis and meditation...
anyway - i say u give it a try for several weeks, see how its going on.

jean masters & robert houston wrote a book _mind games_ which used hypnoid states to recreate a variety of psychedelic experiences ...
(houston's more recent _listening to the body_ incorporated some of the mind games exercises & some new stuff...)
& many books on ACSs & astral projection & magick & trancework & similar topics use methods similar to hypnotic induction techniques...
i think charles tart did a paper on mutual hypnosis...
even guided meditations have similar methods...
deeper... go deeper...
