Well 1cc will work and it won't be that slow, but 3cc is definately better. I would say 8 jars, 1 syringe, will do just fine.

Kbone, i usually use 10cc in a dozen 1 pint canning jars, using finch seed it works well, the jars become fully cultured in about 3 weaks.

assuming that you make your own prints, why not just buy a few large syringes and have as much as you need? it doesn't really matter though, since the amount of spores in the syringe doesn't seem to affect colonization time by more then a few days, ever.

Although I am not an expert, I make a mycelium culture and use one syringe per jar. I usually make my medium a little dry to incorporate this fact. I usually get like 70-80 percent (apparent) colonization in like 4 days. (I have a nice toasty apartment) When starting from a spore print that was just bought, conservative is probably better, but if you have plenty to spare, I say go balls to the wall...............
