For those of you who don't like how IE7 ridiculously disables the standard "File Edit View etc." toolbar at the top:
Quote:
there is an option of enabling it, but if you enable it, it comes below the browsing toolbar.
Thus, to solve this problem, I bring small registry patches which will make the Main Menu bar on the top of Browsing toolbar.

my mom uses IE, always has, I installed firefox and opera on her system to give her a choice other than IE, she hasnt used either, I showed her the tabbed browsing, then a few weeks later she upgraded to IE 7... she keeps asking me why she's getting popups and malware and after explaining that it's the use of IE and downloading all the toolbars, assistants, and 'remove spyware free' programs, she's decided to ignore all my advice and keep on doing the shit
best thing was when she was showing me some shit on a political forum, clicked a link and got some gay hardcore popup... I'll keep giving her shit on that until she croaks

imagine my exclamation... "mom, why are you looking up gay porn???" "sure mom, everyone has done it, there's no need to be ashamed of your desire for homosexuals"

I don't understand why she refuses to use Firefox; it's not like IE7 has an more user-friendly layout. Just delete the IE icon and replace it with Firefox and maybe that'll encourage her to use it just because "it's there". Opera I can understand, though; I didn't like that browser until I did some heavy customization. Opera has amazingly smooth scrolling, though (I'm referring to the scrolling when clicking the scroll-wheel on your mouse)--it's really easy on the eyes (that's one of the main reasons I use Opera).
