Im to attempt my first colony, i was thinking about Puerto rican strain. Any suggestions?

I?d suggest to start with Ecuador, B+ or Golden teacher....

Ok if i go with a pre-sterilized substrate, should i use the bags or the jars? any comment on that?

Jars definetly. Bags contam alot and take much longer. PR's are supposidly a hard strain for newbies, i am having no problems with them so far. They are supposed to be hard to fruit.

My suggestion is Golden Teacher.

PR are hard to case. My PR cakes pinned with a lot of neglect so they are not a harder strain to grow for newbies. EQ is a great strain.
