well, i understand the problem with oven sterlazation is that it dries the jars out. so why not just put in the oven a large pyrex with water in it? i guess i missed somthing here... what?

Nothing, this would work same as boiling on a stove, if the pyrex is covered....
But why not using a pot with lid in a stove then anyway?

no no no no. i ment putting a bunch load of jars on one shelf and on another shelf a open BIG pyrex with water inside making a huge steralazation chanber. the water will evapoate making the oven moist enough to not dry the cakes.
i think i wont activate the fan so the air wont exchange pushing out all the humidity. also i think a good idea will be to heat the oven and the water, lets say an hour befor putting in the jars.
any ideas why this wont work?!

actually tha post made me thinking and thus the water in the oven idea. i dont see why wouldnt it work if the oven will be a humid enviorment. if you see that water is missing - u just add more...
why why why will this not work?

Why don't you just try it and find out. Personally, if Anno says it won't work then I wouldn't bother.

You don't seem to understand the physics of it.
In order to get water to a higher temp than 212, it MUST BE UNDER PRESSURE.
If you could hermetically seal your oven, you'd be all set, but it'd be cheaper to BUY A P.C.!
