I will take it even farther than that and say I never EVER got wbs to work at all until I eliminated the simmer altogether

Yeah, actually, me too. I had a LOT of fucking starchy pillowcases, though. I suppose in the event of nuclear winter I can eat them for nourishment.

I usually only used warm water for there soak. The simmer/boil at the end is under constant stir, then immediatly dumped outside onto a larger window screen. It just lets the water evaporate off much faster. When you make a lot of bird seed, and it is a pile on the screen. The water consistency with regular draining is very hard to get even.

q-does the co-hesivness of water help in a thick layered drain, or you do you stir it around like I used to do. That was before I started the heated technique. So I take it that the starches in the wbs are contained until the kernal pops from over heat exposure.
