well here?s my latest; found this morning. I found more that were laid over and the cap had melted into a black gel. Are these what i need to look for? Do the best ones only grow at night or what? Thanks for all your patience.

Those who melt into a black gel are Coprinus which are not active. However from the pictures only the 2nd from the botton is definitely a Coprinus. You have different species here.
Check if they stain blue.

yeah you defiently have diff species...non of which are active.

That very last pic tho, the cap sorta-kinda-barely resembles a panaelous subbalateatus...find more of those darker ones adn get some pix and spore prints...
