Ice packs in terrium ???s

It's summer good for jars bad for cakes. I read a little bit on putting an ice pack in the terrium to lower temp. for fruiting. Has anyone tried this? Can you give me an aproximation on how much this will lower my temp.? The temp in my terrium goes from about 80 to 85 degres I need to lower the temp. by about 10 degres. Does an ultrasonic humidifier lower temp in the terrium?

I love growin' shitake mushrooms!

Go out and get yourself a sixpack of beer. After you drink em up rinse the inside and fill 3/4 with water and freeze them. After there frozen take 2 and put them in your terrarium and just keep rotating them so you always have 2 frozen cans available. This is what I did and it works great. The only downfall to this is you usually want more beer after a sixy.
