I'm a bit fascinated by the nuances of different syllables creating different states of mind.

I don't chant very often, but I like to make noise all the time. I am just a noise box. I like to sing, it is my passion. In addition to this, I am usually making odd sounds and otherwise testing the limitations of my physical being by permeating it with vibration.

When I'm tripping I often find myself creating a tone (om) then cycling through different vowel tonal placements at varying speeds in a continuous flow from sound to sound.

It really makes you kind of "stretch out" and open 'everything'... (meaning the relaxation and where you allow the tone to flow...) there is a specific set of vowel tones associated with each chakra. I have a CD called "Vocal Toning The Chakras" that relies on vowel tones to represent each chakra. While I really didn't enjoy the CD (it was presented really stiffly, imho) I really wish I had written down the series. :P

I may grin and bear it for one more round to write it down.

I'm going to fly wildly with this because I really am not sure what you mean.

I felt like I was asking you the obvious and that we were both already aware of the chakra syllables, but that proper syntax necessitated a forward progression in reasonable units rather than branching out into the edge of the forest so to speak.

Is this what you mean? If not and if so, what did you mean?
