Donnie Darko

Anyone seen the movie ???? I saw it the other night and thought it was really good. It starts out withh this kid who wakes up at night because his imaginary twisted rabbit told him to meet him at the golf course, at wich point a jet engine falls into his room from the sky, not killing him cause he was talking to the rabbit.

That sounds good. I just saw The Man Who Wasn't There. If you like Edgar Allen Poe, or old film noir, or movies with lots of startling plot twists, you'll like this one. Thanks for the tip.

This is now on my list of all time favorite movies.....

The people I was with didn't like it either though....
Apparently they don't like to think at all while watching films....they would rather watch a slasher flick or .......

The soundtrack is pretty good to....lots O' memories if you grew up in the 80's like me:)

fantastic movie... i've seen it onceand i don't fully understand it, although i've thought of a few explanations. hoping that if i watch it again i might understand it more, but i'm not sure how likely that is. make sure to check out the website too, www.donniedarko.com . its really well done, interactive, and it tells you extra things about the plot that you can't learn in the movie. for example you can read excerpts from the time travel book, and read fake newspaper clippings. it gave me a different take on things, so that i can see it from a different angle the next time i watch it.

i just made a post about this in OTD. It is a great movie, with several good actors.

Jena Malone plays the girl that wins Donnie?s insane heart. She is very hot.

Ya I liked it, but I prefer Requiem For a Dream over it.
