I have to disagree with the notion that a cubie is a cubie. I can tell qualitative differences that have nothing to do with 'set and setting' but are inherent to a mushroom strain's character. I am talking about recognizable characteristics that are evident upon repeat visits to a particular batch.
Are those differences simply a matter of batch and not strain? Further study will tell for sure, but as someone fairly versed in psy chedelic experience- psilocybin and its analogues in particular- I lean towards the notion that strains are indeed experientially differentiated.

Nope, never heard of it.
Though some will say a cubie is just a cubie, I tend to disagree. B+ was thought initially to be of the Psil Azure family cuz it is pretty potent and had some of the psil traits. Puerto rican is another. I got some mystery shrooms that looked like cubies and I tripped face off 1.7 g. Obviously pan Cyan, Psil Cyan and Psil Azure are the strongest but of the cubies some albinos are extremely strong and some of the strains are pretty potent as well.

someone in australia ordered equadors and than continued to isolate a substrain and they called it an aussie cubenis I even looked it up, there was numerous sites yesterday that all basically said the exact same thing.

Oldest mistake in strain discussion. And still the most common.
People love to name their strains after a location (often the cultivator's location), to make them seem new and foreign and desirable. Sometimes they're from the location--usually they're not.

dang, after reading this, ive decided i want to grow.......all of them! haha if they dont have high yield, they have huge size, if they dont have huge size, they have high potency, if they dont have high potency they have an incredible history making them worth growing to be a part of it....one way or they other they all seem AMAZING!

Does anyone know much about the Mexican Dutch King strain? It's the SOTM at Ralph's right now.
