Don't thow your jars out!

One of my jars took two weeks before it showed any signs of growth. Shake your jars gently to help distribute the spores.

give it more time and move your jars to a warmer place....at 73F there going to colonize slower....get it up to 86F and your set! JUST DONT TOSS EM! About the water, actaully I found that less might have done better in my jars. I used the same amounts as you did.
