 gggrrrrrr...contam syringe

Ok, I have 24 jars sterilized. BRF/verm.
I was just about to innoculate all 24 of them when I found out that 2 syringes have what I think to be contams.
I have a bunch of EQ syringes, which since I made them myself I dont really know if they are ok. But I think so.
I wanna do 6 jars per syringe.
Now, I already did 12 with 2 EQ syringes.
I have a MAZ and another B+ syringe.
Id like to have some variety. But the Maz and B+ dont look right.
They have what appears to be not just plain spores, but almost cobweb growth around the spores in some areas. Im assuming this is definitely not good and not worth wasting 12 more jars on.
You think I should order 2 more? Or just innoculate the rest with EQ spores?
My concern is whether or not the 12 remaining jars will be safe and sterile until I get more syringes. hmm.....

Do you have any idea what this crap is inside the syringes?
Im about to order more, but id like to know if this has happened to others syringes and if they are fine.

i just ordered some syringes and noticed the same thing around the large clumps of spores.
i hope someone know what this is .
there were huge cllumps of spores in the syringes.
i hope mine were o.k.
i'm sure some one on here knows.
i still have a couple left.

this thread was interesting to me and noticed the same thing. or similar
i wasn't trying to blast your spores at all they have more spores in the syringes than i have ever recieved in any before.

I have bought syringes with the same kind of stuff you described and all my jars turned out fine. I believe it is a little mycellieum that you are seeing. I would try a couple jars to test it and see how it turns out. BRF is cheap enough to experiment a a few jars.

All my syringes have the large clumps of spores in them to....... and you know what I have never had a contam from a syringe that had the clumps in it.

When I make syringes some of them turn out like this as well. I think some of the spores end up germinating for some reason,when I madehoney water syringes it looked exactly the same except more of it.
I have used them like this many times with no problems.

Here's just an idea of what it may be....so dont laugh..
Maybe, since i dont have them in a fridge and have them in my room which gets warm, the spores may be germinating on the minerals in the water somehow.
Besides when I have the airconditioner on......my room gets really warm.

Sorry BadJesseJames...i see ive kinda just repeated what you said.
But I dont use honey water though.
So I really dont have a clue if it'll still turn out that way.
I think its supposed to look that way with honey water.
But mine is just sterilized water. =(

Hey there,
If you don't want those big clumps of spores, SEND THEM TO ME. I suspect what you are seeing is pretty common in commercial syringes if you are lucky...big clumps of spores...heheheheh!

Its not just clumps though.
The clumps are clumps because they are clumped (i know, i know) together with stringy shit that I think is something that shouldnt be there.
Sorta like snot.........yummy.....
Or actually, its sort of like a jellyfish substance.

Hahaha.. Oh no! I just received syringes from thelittleguy.com and what did I find inside the syringes?! Liquid.. with spores in it! How dare you send me spores in my syringes boxtop! You evil evil man. I'm so worried that the spores inside the syringes might start growing mushrooms if I put them in jars

Wow, some of you people aren't too bright. The supposed "cobweb" growth you see in your syringes are SPORES. Unless you put something like honey or syrup or some shit in your syringes I highly doubt that anything has started to grow in your syringes(contaminates, mycelium, etc).
I have this great idea... GET A FUCKING CLUE.

And btw.....Its the same exact type of clump that I found when cleaning out my cool mist humidifier.....which was mold. So, I think this question was valid.

If that shit wasnt in there when I bought the one, and made the other myself, and it eventually appeared....it obviously fucking grew or somthing got in there that may not be mycelium. And if mycelium grew...OBVIOUSLY something else could have grown too. Im not claiming that I was completely sterile about keeping them either.

Man you really need to read before you flame.
He was not talking about the spores. We all know that is good.
They were talking about the WHITE stuff. which i have seen to be both cobweb mold and Mycelium.
so as some ass hole once said "GET A FUCKING CLUE."
now to those that care i would either test it on 1 jar or test it in some honey water and see what happens.
in my experience it is mycelium so you may even want to jsut innoculate all those jars. if it is mold your out what $10 and some time. either way those jars will not keep until you get more spores.

Mr mushroom......ill try try to find a way to send you some if you want. Ill just use most of the syringe and send you the rest. Or perhaps try to make more. But if make more syringes, the chances of other contams may increase. So perhaps I will save a couple cc's for you. I do not have a microscope and am very curious as to what it is. Also, my digital camera wont pick it up.....to small i think.
