Tripping with flashing lights on low frequencies?

Hi I was wondering, if one could get into another state of mind, while watching lights flashing on different (low) frequencies? (kind of like a strobe light)
Maybe its possible to get intense visuals, or a medidative state while tripping.
I got that idea ,and thought ..hey i have to try this... so i wrote a small program, that lets the comp screen flashes on low frequencies. Also with an option for left eye flash/right eye flash. (You have to be very close to the screen for this) (probably its best with your eyes closed)
I will test this program the next time i trip, i hope it will be in the next days or so (depends upon my tripbuddy .. )
But up to then i thought it might be a good idea, to make a post here, maybe someone else has already some expierence with this.
In case you want to try it yourself, i have uploaded the small program to a website, here is the link: http://www.geocities.com/kertiner2002/
If you use it while tripping, please tell me the results, and what worked best.

there are many theroies on this. how to synch your brainwaves to a frequency, and alter your consciousness thusly. there are audio and visual tools available to help you with this. some are called
brain machines
mind machines (mind modules or soem shit)
some strobe programs allow you to adjust in hz how fast/slow they blink...
personally i used to use my macintosh with a strobe program, and a audio tone generator ( different frequencies in each channel to create a third beat that your brain realizes from two differing frequencies and such).. every now and then id pop my custom glasses made from cheap sunglass frames and two round hazard lights with led's that blinked aroudn the circle in succesion..
there have been many a voyage on dxm or shrooms wandering through nothing but tones and lights, its very interesting, i suggest you look up information or jsut pm and ill dig some up for ya on the subject
man, im feeling way schizo today.

It always gave me really cool visuals to take a strobe light with one of those adjuster dials on the back and put it up to my face with my eyes closed and play around with the dial. Sometimes I even can get geometric patterns sober like this.
