do different strains REALLY produce different affects? will and experienced shroomer give me a short discription of how different strains affected you. for example:

Not really. Most differences are the way the mushrooms grow. Some cubies tend to be more potent then others even within the same strain.

They all make the same stuff. Psilocybin/psiocin.

Some poeple claim certain strains are more visual or whatever, but after experimenting quite a few times i think they are all the same.

Gulf Coasts tend to be a little lighter on potency in general where equdors seam to be quite potent.

I've only tried 2 different strains of cubensis those being golden teacher and matias romeo, I can tell you now they are pretty much the same.
However, Liberty caps (which contain large amounts of psilocybin and very little if any psilocin) I have found to be very intense (very acid like) with very little body load even at high doses.

Copelandia cyanescens again extremly intense visual trips (with visuals tending to be futuristic in nature ie metalic structures, laser like webs etc) at as little as a gram. Also cause me to shake uncontrollably from come-up to peak, buzzing in the left brain is common. These are as close to a shroomahuasca trip as you can get! High body load. I can usually expect a splitting headache and weakend limbs the next day.

Psilocybe cyanescens, very dreamy (creamy, thick, underwater) trip quite lethargic (oftentimes very difficult to move) trip with very natural organic visuals. Again causing shakes but the next day feeling usually great!
