Any drugs you sincerely regret dabbling in?
    #7152797 -

For me it was DXM. I was on a year long ride with that stuff. Not an addiction but I was using it fairly frequently. This was when I was 16. The problem with that stuff is that I actually enjoyed it. Hell, I loved it! I was so sociable and elated it was ridiculous. Hardly the experience of most from what I've gathered. I soon realized that that stuff was bad for the mind, body and maybe even soul so I've never went near it again. I had a bad (5) bottles of tussin trip I'll never forget. Never again, fuck DXM. I always encourage people not to try it. But human curiosity knows no bounds.

Salvia...

To this day I'm still confused and a bit freaked out about what I experienced after smoking x20 extract.

It was pretty fucking intense, and I only smoked a quarter of a bowl.

They were even selling x80 extract at the smoke shop. I can't begin to imagine what a fatty bowl of that would do to a person.  :stars:

Me too.. too much. It really fucks you up after a while.. Its hippie crack I swear.

I've met so many complete and utter fuckups through this drug (its literally destroyed so many peoples lives).. I tell you something.. In the near future, with the rise of this drug (as it is becoming more popular) we'll all see the darker side of this apparently virtuous drug.

Ketamine permafucked my eyesight / nose and definitely knocked me down a few IQ points..

But tobacco is one too, I dont smoke as much now, so i forgot about that one...and I usually dont classify cigarettes as drugs, even known nicotine is a drug.

I wish I never tried any drug including marijuana so I wouldn't know what I am missing. A long time ago, I would be able to have fun just coming home, drinking soda and playing games. Now I am bored out of my mind if I am not high on something. It sucks. I guess I regret trying amphetamine the most though because it makes me do everything faster and better, gives me a lot of confidence too. So now I always have that thought "this would be a lot better if I had adderall."

Like I said I wish I never got into any drugs in the first place. I was happy without them.

Having friends "pass eachother out" in middle school, Freon, DXM around the same time period. Have noticed a marked before and after effect on my brain with those drugs.

Meth... well that was part of a learning experience that i wouldn't trade anything for. But if i had found it during a differant period, i wouldn't have the pavlovs dog reflex of addiction, and negative effects whenever i try to dabble in it these days.

sounds like a personal problem rather than a drug one.

I'll admit the kids I smoked out with were lazy as fuck and pretty much dropped out and when I first tripped on fungi I realized that I should move on from this. I quit doing all other shit and stayed true to that chitinous mycelium and I'm happy.

As for the one drug that I absolutely adore coming into my life... mushrooms, hands down.

Apart from Alcohol the only one I really regret is shitty E. I've had a few salvia experiences which haven't been worth it (not breaking through but getting the unpleasant physical sensations) but I hardly regret it.

Maybe weed as well, if I'd never had tried it I wouldn't spend so much damned money on it.

One of my old roomates had ulcers from drinking too much hard liquor, he had to stick with beer.
I dont want to get that fucked up.

Marijuana.

In college it was what was available, and my friends always wanted to smoke. It always just made me paranoid and tired (well, ok there were some hilarious times too). But I pretty much had no social life during those times. And that's what I really needed.

At least tobacco taught me self discipline. (from quitting...repeatedly)

Like others, just nicotine. I don't regret any other drug experience. But now I can't do many physical things for very long because of fucking smoking. So that's why I'm quitting.

Cocaine - that's a year (age 22-23) of my life and several hundred pounds I'll never get back.

I'm quite anti alcohol & tobacco these days.

I probably did far too much E as well, back in the day!

Dabbling? No...

I do regret getting used to smoking cannabis daily by myself though. I took it way beyond dabbling.

it is important to know about the drug u r going to take...
lack of information is always a problem... i think mixing is bad..that's the thing.. without mixing u can truly enjoy the drug

I took Zyban (Wellbutrin) to quit smoking and it worked,
but I had terrifying nightmares where I was being sacrificed,
and I bumped into an old friend who had committed suicide.

Wellbutrin = BAD shit!

In the near future, with the rise of this drug (as it is becoming more popular) we'll all see the darker side of this apparently virtuous drug.

I've only done K a handful of times and I absolutely loved it.  No offense, but could it be that you abused K, which caused K to abuse you?  I think K is incredible.

I hope you're right, but what makes you think that K is rising in popularity.  None of my drug friends can find it.

Hah my problem was the fact that its dirt fucking cheap; and very very available.. we'd get it by the litre bottle from india (we knew someone over there) .. theres about 50g of ketamine to a bottle (if your lucky); and a bottle costs about £2-300. A gram of ketamine full retail price is about £20 .. sell a 1/2oz and you have enough ketamine to last you a week or 2 (with ketamine; everyone gets ketamized.. its a sharing thing).

Now I've been fucking ketamized off my nut in the most random situations (talking to pigs / in lectures /  mountain boarding / working) .. in fact I've probably lost months of my life to the wonkyness. Worst time was a 0.4g line on acid & 2cb (I had a tollerance, but this was fucking goooooood k).

I've seen a dude lay out 2g he just bought off me of this ketamine that was '4x concentrated' as it said on the bottle (was really fucking strong, but tasted like pure evil and really got stuck up your nose) he laid out his 2g in 5 lines. Did 2. sat there for about 2 mins and did the other 3. He just sat there completely phased. It was like it was normal for him.. proper sketchy matey.. couldn't even communicate normally when sober; he was a proper mess.. it was like he was schizophrenic K head.. he talked proper sketchy shit when you could understand his incoherent babbling.. Another dude I met, everytime he did a line of K he had to hold his nose by his eye; because the ketamine leaked into his eye (after months of abuse it annihilated his nose). I've also seen plenty of people spin out, throw up, pass out, drink the liquid straight from the bottle, have weird seizure like things.. I dunno. Even I've had my moments where I thought I was living inside a dream.. That I was really some dude in a coma.. I kept on hearing life support machines that weren't there... Started to fuck me up (in the head.. has an uncanny ability to do that).

I just don't trust it. Nos and ketamine are both fucked up drugs...

Thats what did it for me.. I didn't want to join the ranks of all the fuck heads I met. I needed out. Now I stick to the natural drugs.. (and lsd )

Ketamine is fun, like all drugs, just it gets pretty fucking heavy when abused.

I can definitely see it's potential for abuse. But I think it's a great drug to do every once in a while. I had all great times on it. I probably haven't had it for 5 or 6 years though.
