Cool, good job. It's always nice when things go even better than planned. 8 days and almost 50%? I don't think i've had my jars go that fast. Nice going :smile:

I got a cool technique from Ryche Hawk a while back that might be of some assistance. He mentioned that when your jars are approx. 50% colonized flip them over! Why? well if you have holes poked in the lid (according to MMGG for innoculation) then all the built up CO2 which is heavier than the precious life giving O2 will seep out. And if my physics is correct, the O2 outside will seep in. I simply spray some lysol on a paper towel and let it dry, then place the upside-down jar on top. That way the air going in will be as contaminant free as possible. You should see dramatic effects within a day or two. Since the first time I used it I was hooked. Hope this helps.. thank you thunder cat!! I was going to do this but I was afraid of what would be sucked in w/ the 02 but the lysol Idea has cleared that problem right up :O
