i'm not sure you're missing anything, but you have way too many guns.

also what kind of going to shit are we talking about? am i having to live in the woods or can i just chill in suburbia?

either way if its the goddamn end of the world i think i'd just accept... naturalism?

i can easily imagine myself just having my clothes, and then i'd make shit out of twigs and whatnot.

almost like camping eh?
if we're talking like bunker style survival...where you have a place to keep all your stuff. i'll just add to yours.

-a good stock of those propane canisters, big and small
-lanterns..i guess that falls under your lights
-lots of bundles of thick rope and thin twine
-liquor
-tarp, big and small, more than one sheet
-GPS thing
-more than two radios, walkie talkies. the good quality kind.
-i'd actually have a small chainsaw to add to the axe and hatchet
-which leads to gas. maybe a few 50gal drums! (why not go big)
-a car too. more like a truck actually. something big and strong and hard to break.
-tool box full of general hand tools
-i think i'd also have some of those fuel logs, the kind that you just unwrap one and light it on fire...like duraflame
-was that a flare gun?
-a mirror
-compass
-maybe an air horn
-soap

if it's just a small pack, then i think you covered the best stuff. maybe just add the smaller lighter things from this list. i'm sure i could think of more stuff i'd want to survive a few months lol

i missed some of that stuff. good call on the flare gun.

a scope for this would rock, plus a strap, and larger mags.

this is such a freakin cool lookin gun.

Ideally id want to have all this stuff at this house in the Irish countryside that belongs to my girl and her brother. Fortify the house and hold up, plus there sheep pastures and such for food and Liberty Caps in season. :yesnod:

i like that gun and ya i'd want sniper type rifles too. something i could pick things off from the comfort and safety of my own little fort.

there's this book i've seen at work... i think you'd like it. it's called something like 'zombie survival guide'. i bet you'd get a laugh out of that one. i read a few pages and it was pretty funny. i think there's one for robots too. lol

so your trottin along, looking for twigs to make somethin, you got your meat cooking(somehow you got some, i dont know cuse you dont have a gun) and this dude runs up and trys to steal the meat(which you worked very hard for considering you dont have a gun). He takes it and before you can catch him hes gone with your food.

Or you're really hungry and need to find food QUICK. A large rabbit in its prime comes into view just up ahead. You sneak up behind it trying not to make a sound and then you strike. you miss and it runs away(You're so hungry that your just not quick enough to catch the rabbit like the time tha weird dude stole it)!

i think ill keep the gun thank you very much.

if someone was hungry enough to steal food i would let them have it.

i wouldn't let myself get to the point where i was almost dying of hunger.

i probably wouldn't eat meat except fish anyways...

assuming of course that all the grocery stores are locked down by motorcycle gangs or something.

hell maybe i'd join a motorcycle gang.

yeah i get where your coming from, but to me everything i posted is a tool. Put all the stigma concerning guns aside, if a situation arose like the one im talking about i wouldnt want to be without a gun.
