Yes, you read right! Composition Contest is back online (along with my new power supply!)
Alright, for those of you who are new, we post a picture and contestants write an original piece of music that for that picture. This is from last months contest. Only 2 people participated. We will reveal names after the voting is finished. Go ahead and listen to the tracks while viewing the photo's and vote for which one fits best!

Thanks.. Hey guys, I'm going to go to my moms house for a few days. I'll be taking my computer to record on. (writing a song with my friend) So I might be offline for a few days. Look forward to seeing a winner!

Even though both were great, hands down the second one was my choice.
I really liked the first one in the beginning, especially because I'm biased when it comes to guitar  , but at points later on it sounded to "crowded".
Both were still great though.
I only wish I could do stuff like that  I have no clue where to even start with stuff like that.

They are both good, and give a good feel to them, they were both very enjoyable to listen to....
"The Living Universe" is just f'n incredible....!!!!
If I could get a copy of it, I would alter it by fading in at 2:00, and chopping the first 1:50 - then I would loop it....
(sorry, but I would  )
The piano melody and emotional gradient are absolutely divine from that point out....
I need to go thru the other composition threads and have a taste of what I missed....!
I usually just read the "Art" threads in this forum, but I am realizing that there are some talented musical mo~fo~s up in this place....!

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.
