eee, i am excited. check out my new babies. They look great for being in the mail for 4 days.
nice BIG leafs with a red vein(supposedly this is the rifat strain of Mitragyna Speciosa.
anyone know what kind of bug this is?? soapy water spray maybe to get rid of them?? I need to keep these bugs away from my sensitive sally d's...
I payed $25 for the pair of them, a steal if you ask me. They desperatly need to be repotted as roots are coming out of the bottom of the containers, and out the top of the soil.

Scary looking bugs! Nice tall trees. Hope they bode well for you, I am loving mine. Luckily I found an ebay vendor within a 2 hour drive to order mine from.
Those are big for mites but similar to the bugs I had on my first plant I got from ebay. They eventually killed my plant. However, that was a different vendor.
I'll let someone else identify them as I can not tell from the pic.
Good luck, enjoy your plants and have a great day.

yeh ive never seen any bugs like this before. I wiped them off the leaves with a wet paper towel, and then sprayed with soapy water, to discourage them from coming back. Talk about babying a plant!

are those pests creating a web and binding the leafs together? are there any holes in your leafs...?
I feel your pain, after looking at that close up pic i agree with shelster in saying they loook abit big for mites.... but if the signs are clear that's my best guess,
to me, (and i am no bug expert but i will just show you my reasoning) those look like bastard female spider mites,
spider mites can ruin crops, try NEEM insectidal soap, that hopefully will work, but get another opinion,
much luck with your Kratom plants,

it is definitely not just dirt/debris, because it has legs. They do have a similar shape to a mite, but they are just so big for a mite. Maybe its the power of the kratom!
I have contacted the supplier, and they are looking into this as well.
