Please read everthing here!!www.erowid.org/plants/datura/datura.shtml
Datura Inoxia
datura metal has a double purple flower
Again please read, i don't know what your purposes for this plant are but as far as injestion of this plant or seeds of it go the affects of it seem extremely negative
this site lists some individual experiences.
I was once interested in this plant but i have to say i think i'll pass.

Yes, do have a read on Erowid, and have a look on all the trip reports, you'll see that it more a psycological crisis than a trip... Datura is BAD; don't do it. But if you grow it just for the beauty of the plant and it's smell, no problem, but watch out not to ingest it "accidently"

I found some datura exactly like yours growing in some old ladies garden beds in my neighborhood. I am fairly certain they are datura inoxia. Huge white flowers loaded with fragrance and frosty spear shaped leaves. I've been meaning to get pics but they are already closed up by the time I get up in the morning. They aren't like D. stramonium, they don't stay open till noon. I'll have to get out there at night sometime and snap a few pics.

Dont worry about me staindblue no intentions on injesting any daturas! But they are beautifull plants arent they? The confusion for me is when i bought the seed it was labeled D. metal....the variety with purple flowers.....but i think LizardKing is right.....probably D. inoxia..... but heres a good link i found for IDing Daturas and Brugs..... Datura and Brug. Taxonomy

Dactora is useful with san pedro though. Just take enough to feel the effects and its increase the trip.I tryed it over the weekend and what a trip.
