I bought mine from http://www.andysgarage.com very affordable and the cooker isn't that bad. It's only rated at 12PSI, but that just means you increase sterilization time by 20%, not a biggie, instead of 30 mins, 36 mins, or instead of 60 mins 72 mins....

Hi Ryche,
Actually, thats how I found that site, I was looking for parts. The pressure cookers I had was just old. It's not the first time the seal has broke and it's from the way it looks, it's had better days:-)

I figure I'll get another one and be on the safe side. I'm really not in the mood to blow up a kitchen because of a bad gauage or seal;-)

If you'd like to save some money, check out Mall21. These are nice, dependable folks. They have:

21-quart Presto pressure canner (28-half-pint capacity) for $75
and
17-quart (hold same number of half pints as the 21-quart) Presto pressure canner for $66

These are nice little canners with a pressure guage built in.
