apparently this wasn't OTD MATERIAL. so I posted it here also. All I hear these days is newbie this noob that! WTF? Its time to set the damn bar. b/c alot of people are one here newbie perpetratin. SO JUST WHAT IS, the definition of a newbie? and How long is the time period of "Newbieness" Can these so called newbies write TEKS? IMO: When your knockin up jars, your a noob. by the time the jars are fully colonized, you already have and understand the concepts behind MYC growth, FC's, Optimum growing conditions ETC. And so thats what you ask about. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/6964532/an/0/page/1

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7032828/an/0/page/0
This was (my) NOOB stuff. then you graduate from that into this... http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7048601/an/0/page/0 by the time you really start "Diggin in" and learning this thing, (I hate to say) but, You aint a noob no more! and if your still asking stupid questions GOOD FOR YOU! b/c heaven forbid ANYONE EVER feels "Afraid" to ask a question in general, but EXP. on ThIS forum!, can you imagine? just b/c they don't want to "look stoopid" and the question was like, "Whats this Green stuff on my cake?" and dude gets sick as hell, or even dies http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/3454667/an/0/page/0/gonew/1#UNREAD b/c he wouldn't ask for help! If your new, I suggest doing it like I did. keep updating your pics, and asking specific questions about them, (like in the above links) and let the pros tell you whats going on with them. DON'T BE A RETARD. ASSUME NOTHING! Always bank your crazy Ideas off the pros. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7088604/an/0/page/0 Sure, (some of em) they'll bitch at you and tell you to READ! and USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION,

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7018796/an/0/page/0
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7014698/an/0/page/0
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7094627/an/0/page/0 (see also- "my ratings page!" lol
but the bottom line is, where other peoples grows in the past are similiar to mine, http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7103864/an/0/page/0 there not mine, and therefore, the safest thing you can do, is have a pro look over your shoulder and make sure you're doing it right.
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7091907/an/0/page/0
You study the previous grows, just to be able to START your own. But once you START IT, You have to ASSUME that you have no Idea what your doing. B/c really, you don't know what you don't know. and it could be something CRITICAL to your success. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7046784/an/0/page/0
So by all means ASK ASK ASK specific things about your grow. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7088604/an/0/page/0
but do it in the growlog. They tell me I clutter up the Cult boards with my crap! But, IMO cult board IS the Grow log! I don't see why they seperate em? it's the same thing.(to me)
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7032810/an/0/page/0 http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/7041038/an/0/page/0
But I digress,
Getting back to the definition of newbieness, Bottomline, if you have never grown shrooms to the point you can trip off what you have grown,
then you're still IMO TECHICALLY a noob. But once you have, thats your Graduation into HS. thats like your trip ceremony. Its PROOF your method works. is it not? Should you not be able to write up tek? as long as it states that it has only fruited once? Anything you do once, you can do again. I am NOT a noob at this point. I have no excuse for fuckin this thing up. I may not have a shitload of harvest under my belt, but I have tripped off what Ive grown, Thus, unless YOU HAVE also, I'm smarter than you (in a way) and you can take my advice or leave it but, IVE DONE THE SHIT. START TO FINISH. SUCCESSFULLY. that should count for somethin!
what chall think?
