Ive succesfully grown many times with the pf tek, but this is my first time with wbs in quart sized jars so i have some questions...Should i use multiple innoculation points? How much innoculate should i inject in each quart-sized jar? Should i shake the jars after innoculation? thanks for the help

A friend of mine has had some success with wbs and here is what he has found to work for him. He just uses one innoculation point, but he puts it right in the middle of the jar and kind of sprays about 2cc's of spore solution in a circular motion into the jar. He then gives it a good shaking and lets it sit in the incubator untill the myc starts to show before he shakes again. A recommends a couple of things that will help in colonizing wbs. Air exchange is crucial so you will need a half inch or so hole in the lid covered in tyvek to help in that area. He has also found that if speed is important to you liquid myc is definately the way to go. A few cc's of that stuff and away you go!!

A guy I know only used 3/4 cc split by two inoc. points. He then shakes them. After 20 and 50% he shakes again. At the right temps, it is a speedy process.

1 day:(.... if its only been one day its probably mold, keep a real close eye on it cause 1 spot of mold can poison all your future endeavors for months if you let it sporulate in your grow area
