I feel your pain my friend! I too have been a sorrowful victim of this horrible, infectious diease:-)

It would be nice to get rid of this mold.

The only odd battle tactic that I have is one that a guy I met once used. He got a large battery, the huge rectangular type that fit in spotlite type flashlights.

He then got a piece of copper wiring and attached it to the part of the casing where the mold was, and gave it a few good shocks!

I wish I knew if it worked but, I never saw the guy again so I couldn't see the results.

Maybe we should just start going door to door and take up a donation to fight this! Maybe even a teleathon where folks could call and donate funds to help in the battle:-) LOL

thinner caseing, better adjustment of pH prior to caseing.. have you tried testing your pH?
other than that.. your guess is as good as mine
