Those are dried shiitake. They are excellent edibles but lack hallucinogenic qualities.

Yes those are dried Shiitake. If someone sold them to you, you got ripped badly.

Yeah, in High Times magazine they advertise 3-4 dried "magic mushrooms" for $25. There is a photo and everything, and they are obviously shiitake.

High Times,
the greatest rip-off magazine for products which are not drugs but advertised as such is famous for advertising phony budds, phony speed pills and phony downers such as valiums which are not real and they also advertise phony mushrooms.
