yes, it does. So say the moon is exactly the same size when it's on the horizon as when it's overhead. when it's on the horizon, we THINK it's larger, even though it's exactly the same size as when it's overhead. This is due to the landscape of the horizon acting as a reference point, as opposed to the open empty sky, which causes the moon to appear much smaller.

if you don't understand, you're probably not very bright, because i'm drunk AND high, and i understand it just fine.

because if it is then yes it does not make sense, atleast to me it doesn't


I would think it would look smaller if you had something to compare it to like the horizan, being that the horizan is alot nearer it would mkae the moon much smaller...... hmmmmm

do this shit: when the moon is rising on the horizon, stretch your arm out, close an eye, and check how big the moon is compared to your thumb. now, when the moon is above you, do the same shit. see? it looks smaller, but it actually looks the same??? fuck, it made sense in my head
