I love that pic. He/she lives there too. That car is always there when I go there.

beautiful dichotomy.

Well, the whole world is filled with speculation The whole wide world which people say is round They will tear your mind away from contemplation They will jump on your misfortune when you're down Ain't talkin', just walkin' Eatin' hog eyed grease in a hog eyed town. I only picked one of those in the pic, one more by itself a few feet away, and one on the other side of the complex. Those buttons should be fully grown tonight... I doubt I'll go there though. It's a ways from the house.
I found a huge mutant cube today, but it's going into it's own thread. It's just too ugly to put here.

oh yeah.. they're potent. I just ate the one in the foreground of that cop car pic and the other one that was near it which was about the same size.
I'm getting body high effects (waves, tingling, etc.), with no noticeable visuals just off of those two.
The last ones I tripped on from the mulch were intensely body high leaning as well. I think the wood in the mulch gets colonized somewhat (I've seen white veins running through the wood bits, and pieces of wood in the bases of these shrooms, where the myc colonizes around them) and makes these almost (and I'm not comparing the two, so don't get all uppity) like a woodlover, from what people have described woodlover intensity to be. I haven't ever eaten woodlovers, so I'm just going on a hypothesis right now. I know cubes don't necessarily colonize wood, but I think with the wood mixed in with the poo, they're taking advantage of it being there. I mean, when have you seen wild cubes growing on straw? People cultivate them on it all the time, but I've never heard of it in the wild...
New project for the growers... put sawdust in with your substrates for cubes and see if it ups the potency...

...and with the rains come a second flush... and OH GAWD they are fucking huge!
I'll post pics tonight. One cap was a good 7 inches at least. There were two like that, and two that hadn't opened up all the way to planar, another mutant in the same spot as the original mutant and some smaller ones. I'm printing the large ones. Two of 'em took up a whole sheet of foil.
I'm waiting to see what pops up on the other side where most of the ones above were found.

Monster twins with a baby also.
Both of these are 5.5 inches across.
