regarding technology, america is a 3rd world country, we're 10 years behind asia,
europe and pretty much everyone, honk kong is similar to japan in the regard that
their tech industry is far ahead of everyone else

tru dat.

honestly, i think american kids are dumb when it comes to political involvement and international affairs. this stuff is important, goddammit! a part of the reason is because of the shitty ass news we (america) get on TV--what the fuck do we need to be covering janet jacksons fucking tit and paris hiltons jail sentence as a cover story for--for three fucking weeks nonetheless? does anybody even know the travesties, natural disasters, world crimes, or political disputes that took place during those 3 weeks?

i am hoping though that with the advent of the internet this will change soon. it has been, slowly but surely... global information is now easier to access, and should be shared by all means :peace:

it's changing so much that plutocrats are desperately trying to shut down the internet as it is today so that they can introduce a highly regulated version of the web.
