 preparing my first casing. how does this look?

some of the kernels are discolored on the right side. doesnt look like mold. god i hope not i just breathed it in deep and it smelled mushroomy. what do you guys think?[image] [/image]

i have a 50/50 casing prepared (cooling as we speak) with hydrated lime in it. could not find gypsum.

Think it looks good, but let it recolonize and form a mycelial mat before you apply your casing layer. Wait 3-4 days till mycelium pokes through and fruit.
