Rosetta Stone Software

i recently downloaded some from oink.me.uk, and i opened the file, and immediately it tried to burn the files to a disc through my CD burner. Do i have to burn it to a disc and then install it on my computer? does anyone know if theres a program i need to run it through to get it to work on my PC? any help would be appreciated. also, sorry to post 2 threads in such a short amount of time but i really wanna get a head start on my spanish.

You dont have to burn it just mount it with daemon tools or powerIso

I think it sucks by the way. May just be me but I DLed it to help with my Spanish class and it didn't help me worth shit.

ok well there's several different rosetta stones out there.

There's one that can be run off of one CD and there's one that has to have the application CD then the language CD.

look for the application if maybe that's what you need.

or if you have the other kind, mount it... Alcohol 120% is another program that can mount it.

I have the spanish one and just downloaded the pack with german, russian, chinese, jap, italian.. blabla yeah..

I feel it helps speaking the language.

yeah im using it to learn chinese 1 and 2.

could very very helpful later on in my career path.

I thought russian was difficult at first, but it's ok. At least I can discern the letters.... Chinese, on the other hand, just wow... Chinese isn't another language, it's another world.

well im young and have plenty of time to learn at my own pace, since i havent even started college yet.. shit that reminds me, i need to go get that placement test done like next week.

i kinda have this job opportunity to be a sports scout, its not 100% but id say im very very close to getting it.. learning chinese could def open some doors in international scouting for professional teams in the states.

ok, i finally finished downloading rosetta stone.. how do i open the files.. ive tried using winRAR since they are .rar files but it doesnt seem to be working for me

anyone able to help me unpack this files?

you got a bad image...try searching for just that specific rar and you should be back on track (much smaller d/l and just replace the original .part file)

EDIT: is it asking for a password to un-rar?

no, its a problem on each file.. id have to completely redownload it wouldnt i?

i only managed to slim it down to about 11 GB when i downloaded it the first time.. i really dont want to have to download it again.
