Do it man! Its a 35 min song. They pull it off well too. Not alot of bands can really have a song that long grasp the listener. Edge of Sanity's Crimson is one of my favorite albums. Obscura is deff a album that stands on its own in death metal. Even now years after hearing it for the first time I will discover something in the musici havent heard before.

The new Lotus album; Eat the Light. Very different than the Lotus I'm familiar with. Kinda poppy, but in a real funky way that I dig. Some of it sounds very Talking Heads-esque.

I totally see the Talking HEads influence in there. Not bad at all man!! I havent heard of Lotus before but i will totally check some more out soon.

Their older stuff  was a lot different. More jazzy & melodic.... Didn't have vocals. Really spiritual stuff. I like this album a lot though.

Right on, I will look into thier earlier albums. Have you ever listened to Acid Mothers Temple and The Cosmic Inferno? Very psychedelic and not alot of singing at all. Its really nice when you're deep in a trip and laying down.

that's the very first song I heard by Tool, and it's still my favorite. The last time I saw them play they did an extended version of it that was awesome.

It's one of my favorites too. Honestly that whole album is one of my favorites in general. I've never seen them!!! I experience deep regret because of it.
