Well, you need to block light from entering the sides. Next time I'd use an opaque container, but you can cover your container in tape or something like that now.

Try using hydrogen peroxide on the green mold. Cut out and remove what you can then spray the area on the casing with H2O2. Remember to use sterile equipment when removing parts of the casing.

Cover the outside of the casing tray with aluminum foil, that way the light can't get in.

Yeah ive had the same prob.
Its not very fun to destroy the casing byb pulling up giant shrooms that are glued to the wall of the casing container...

Do what Strike says..
Some aluminium foil did the trick for me...

get the tray out of your container and place it in a terrarium....
the shrooms will grow on the sides, and you won`t regret it...
