This can help him in lot in that state as well.

it seems like just because he is outspoken and serves a counter balance roll to the mostly liberal leaning forum, that he gets to break all to rules and be an asshole to everyone that disagrees with him. i think he should be held to the same standards as everyone else.
i won't get into his ridiculous and overbearing debate style, but personally i think discussions will be more interesting and civil without him, so i don't really care that ythan basically banned him for nothing. like i said, it was overdue for all the flaming he's dished out and never been punished for.

As it happens, Ythan has reversed the permaban, but even if he hadn't this isn't the venue in which to discuss the pros and cons of specific bans.

Awesome, Iowa would be a great state for cultivating hemp, as well. I was out touring through a corn field down there a couple of weekends ago, and corn is great, but its certainly not a good crop for ethanol (the grain elevator lobbies certainly latched onto the notion, however). That would have been so much cooler to be walking through a field of hemp.
