not enough water. Or to much water, or over fertilization.

repot and how is your water? when mine get super root bound (which they get FAST) they start to droop. bigger pots, fresh nutrient rich soil will help heaps.

hows the light?

The roots arent even touching the pot yet. When it is sunny I put it outside but when it is raining I keep it under a cfl

then i would say its time to fertilize. i use worm and bird shit mostly for most of my plants. adding trace elements maybe once every year or 2 if needed.

good light, warm temps (its summer i assumed its warm there?) and not root bound the only thing i think it could be is a nutrient deficiency.

my tobacco plants were drooping again today, and the soil got absolutely dry in one day (?) so i watered them and they're already standing back up after only like an hour.

most of the time when my hbwr leaves droop, it's because they've had too much sun and not enough water, but you know, that's not every time I guess. It's probably also what everyone is saying. According to my dad, vines are a nutrient plant. So root space isn't necessarily what's going to get them to grow really fast, try using a lot of fertilizer with high content of phosphate and potassium and a lower content of nitrogen. Or with high of all three, but not every day. Or a little of a higher content with all three every day. If I were you, I'd water that plant a little bit every day.

your dad is right they are nutrient PIGS! BUT* that is why rot space is more important...what soaks up those nutrients? a 1 gallon pot is not going to be sufficient for 100 square feet of leaf, even if you fertilize well. my plants get full 30+ degree sun abotu 9 hours a day right now, they love it once acclimated! bright, hot, moist/humid and in the ground, that is what is ideal.

there are diff kinds of potting soil. I got some really cheap 2 dollar a bag shit the other day and it was almost like potting clay or something, all in big clumps...

**i cant imagine it needing fertilizer if it's only 5cm tall?
