hello all!

first post.. first problem..

so it's my first attempt at casing, and believe it or not, it took me two months to get to this point.

it's the first flush if you don't count a number of aborts.

i've had green mold, removed it, and all seemed well until this morning.

i'm gonna pick these today and dry them. they look fine, they smell fine...

i'm a novice and i would love some input on what to do with the casing , but mostly, what to do with the shrooms.

thanx a lot.

sgabish.

pic removed. see next post.

Welcome to the shroomery. I don't click offsite images, so can't see your pictures. If the casing layer has mold, toss it out. If the fruits were mold free, they're fine to eat. In the future, don't try to cut out 'green mold' as you only spread it, making the problem worse. In addition, trichoderma spores are quite sticky, so they stick to you, the walls, the floor, etc., and then come back later to haunt you in your future grows. Always toss out moldy substrates on first sight. Bury them into a hole with some horse or cow manure outdoors and they'll often recover and fruit in a natural environment.
