that's exactly what I noticed too. they're also really vague about a lot of the stuff they say, and it's really just.. biased.
but of course they can't be all "well kids there's this recreational drug out there called marijuana, and well go ahead and try it you might like it and you might not. it'll hurt your brain a bit if you smoke too much, but hell try it anyways!"

They shouldnt tell people they should try it... but they shouldnt tell people that trying it is the wrong thing to do...

Here's a fun fact:
There once was an anti-marijuana commercial that showed a brainwave of a normal 14 year old kid, then they showed what was believed to be the brainwave of a 14 year old kid on marijuana, turns out that it was the brainwave of a 14 year old kid in a COMA... As far as I'm concerned they're all a bunch of nazis.

I don't think anyone will ever forget that commercial. I certainly won't. I had to watch it everyday through high school on Channel One. That might have been the first thing that taught me what the word 'propaganda' was all about.

I hate all those commercials... too much propoganda and exageration, not enough weed smokers perspective. (its really not THAT bad for you... atlesat i dont think... or maybe ive just smoked too much)

So who's influence are the youth supposed to be above? Do you actually suggest that people listen to the commercials and internet, but not HUMANITY embodied as REAL people?

i think they mean above the influence of drugs, not of any particular people, but i agree with what you brought up. They want us to not succumb to pressure, yet they are trying to pressure everyone into what they believe to be right... it's all so hypocritical, just like our christian government (the pilgrims came to america to escape from the government dictating what religion they practiced, but now our government is trying to force christian values on everyone, so we are only becoming the tyrants that our founding fathers escaped from)
