many came up, i managed to save the 20 strongest.



they took some high humidity to take off.

i misted them and kept them moist, and put them in one of those jiffy cloners.

You'll have to keep us updated on their progress, I've heard they don't grow much at all the first year from seeds.

most dont get by their second set of leafs when it comes to heimia from seeds :smile:

I finally found an environment they like.
anyone know how cold hardy they are? zone 8 here and they are outdoors in my greenhouse...

keep indoors for the first couple winters and once they are about 1 foot + plant them in their permanent spot outside. i planted mine in the ground and its growing a new shoot everyday its gone in 1 summer from a weakly looking "shrub" to a massive bush- good luck

I've never had trouble keeping them alive past their 2nd set of leaves. I keep mine in 90+ humidity and moist soil, when the 2nd set is forming I acclimate them down to normal humidity and they do just fine every time :thumbup:

how fast does sinicuichi grow? i just ordered some seeds and i am highly excited to try sinicuichi fresh, just wondering how long i will have to wait before i can harvest enough leaves to make some sun tea.

Nope im not shitting you .. and the bad part is that the seeds dont always make it unless your thumb is green but good luck none the less :smile: my plant is HUGE :smile:

not saying you are wrong, but I think its one of the easiest plants i've grown.. seems to me like you can hand a 10 yr old some seeds and they'll still pop right up.

whethor or not they sprout easy is really irrelevant to what he asked but think what you will

You need about 10 grams for tea but i much prefer smoking it

have you actually gotten any effects from it? if my cuttings dont root within the next week or two ill just strip them down and get enough for a few joints.

I tried tea once without fermentation and got nothing but bad aches. i couldnt even pee cause i was so sore in my chest muscles, let alone barely being able to stand for very long.

after letting it sit in a sunny windowsil for 48 hours, forming condensation and changing to a slightly darker color, I drank the second batch a tea, and experienced some mild stimulation and distortions of sound.

smoking, i experienced nothing.

i used a small handful of fresh leafs both times.
