So i got 8 lb cutting of San perdro Cacti which i am currently slicing and deydrating..
According to this website ( http://www.clearwhitelight.org/hatter/drypedro.htm ) 100g dried is 300mg mescaline, right?
Well it also says that 12 oz fresh is 1 oz dried both equaling 400mg mesclaine per volume. right?
But an Oz is 28.35 grams which would make 100grams 3.53 Oz. ??? that would mean that 100 grams is equal to 1412mg of mescaline?? makes no sence. Please, Whats the best way to prepare and dose this thing? do i take 100grams dry or 1 oz dry?
I just called my friend a few moments ago and he suggested eating 3 to 5 bites and wait. But again he has only done peyote and not san pedro. Any advise would be helpful. thanks

Potency varies a lot, it´s unpredictable, you´ll have to test it yourself.

When I dosed San Pedro I gave my friend and I 15" chunks of a 3" diameter cactus. We had mild effects, but definitely noticeable.

You want "serious help with this cactus please" Cacti is the plural, cactuses is also correct for the plural when needed. You wouldn't say "this cactuses" would you? I see that mistake all the time on this board and elsewhere. Its "cactus garden" "cactus collection" and so on. Or you could say "I have many cacti" that would be correct. Sorry to be the spelling and grammar nazi.
8 lb of good cactus should yield a couple doses, I'd think. Maybe more depending.

hey i had a lil cacti question.. i hear you can sometimes get lucky when going to a cactus nursery or local hardware store and find a peruvian torch or san pedro. I'm going to visit some nurseries today and tomorrow and was wondering if there were any other species i should keep my eye out for ? (southern california)

trichocerus bridgesii and trichocerus macrogonus would be good ones to look for. And of course any other cactus that you like...
