stopped growing???

I have a cake that has been pinning for like a week now. all the pins are growing off the bottom. the biggest ones are only like 1inch. it seems like every day more and more pins show up and i think that they are all still growing but very VERY slow. shouldnt they be growing rather rapidly?? do cakes grow slower than casings?? all the conditions are optimal... thanks for any and all advice.. i owe a significant part of my success from this list...

sounds normal, did you birth them in an inverted position relative to their position in the incubation stage? this would cause all the pins from the bottom.

the growth doesnt sound slow?? i've checked some of those pictoral grow logs and they took like 5 days to go from pin to maturity??
