Lots 'o rye... no reason (no rhyme)... mixing the knocked up with the virgins

Hallo to all,
This is my second run with p.cube. This time I’m running a rye spawn (organic kernels). Of 9 jars, two have succumb to trich, or so it seems. Does mixing cause bruising, hence trich scare? They’ve been isolated regardless, destined for the PC before careful disposal. 1 of 9 jars seems a little slow, waxy appearance at the bottom of the jar (bacterial?). This may be in quarantine by the morning, however. Four jars appear to be doing well, white fuzzy growth Mmmmmm.
I have 7 jars of rye kernels, PC’ed and that’s it. I intended to inoculate them but did not have the time. Now the plan is to PC some empty jars and transfer virgin kernels with inoculated kernels when the time is right. Too risky? Needless to say, I want mix the knocked up group with the virgin group. Not very Christian of me, I know, but I am an atheist.
Theology aside, here is the real question: will trich, cobweb and other contams still thrive in my virgin jars, despite not being exposed to this cruel world after their emergence from the PC? My intuition says yes: that contams will thrive if not destroyed in general. Otherwise, they look great 5 days later. They await patiently for an exciting existence with p.cube.
Let me know if my mentality is sound, and I’m open to tweaks here and there.
Red.

What you're describing is a grain to grain transfer, a very common procedure. You can search for 'grain to grain' or 'g2g' as it's sometimes called. There's an in depth section on it as well in my DVD if you want to see it visually. http://www.mushroomvideos.com/1809563.html RR

I'm no g2g pro, but me thinks that you don't want to PC empty jars. Me thinks you should pc jars of grain like any other, but drop in colonized grain wedge in glove box as opposed to needle innoc, right?

Hey Orb,
I'll PC more grain filled jars, yes. I meant steaming the empty ones. I didn't notice the discrepancy, thanks.
