Shrooms before bed
    #7065984 - 06/19/07 02:40 PM (16 years, 9 months ago)

Ola fellow shroomsters!!! I tried this for the first time about 6 months ago. I was stoned and ready for bed. I pretty much laid down, popped the shrooms and crashed. I woke about 2-2.5 hours later, and totaly forgot about the shrooms I had eaten. I had to gather myself, I almost thought I was dreaming, finally I was like.....I am trippin balls, duh, I ate shrooms before bed. It was great, I put on some tunes and enjoyed the trip. So, I never really got to feel the trip build-up, it was more like opening my eyes and BAM!!!! I will be doing it again. I know some people enjoy feeling the shrooms come on slowly, but you have to give it a whirl. The trip might seem shorter because you slept through some it. Anyone ever tried it?

That happened to my sister, she took half an 1/8th and didn't feel anything so she went to bed. She woke up like four hours later to go to the bathroom and was seeing a floating skull laughing at her with sand pouring out of its eye sockets. She had a fun time after that but I felt kind of bad for her since it was her first time and all she really got to experience was the very end of it.

This annoying kid that made me have a bad 5 gram mushroom trip a while ago stole about 1.5 g to 2 g of mushrooms from me and like fell asleep, and kept waking up and forgetting about the mushrooms. He did this about 3 times lol! God, that kid made me have an angry and made me feel like tribal instinct mode! Sounds fun!

I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to
do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's
so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because
they are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted.
That there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go
in there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they
don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control.

I think next time I try this, I will set the mood before bed. Turn on some blacklights, lava lamps, put on some tunes, and just kinda trip out the whole house. Or better yet I could eat the shrooms, take a short 2 hour nap outside, and wake-up to the night sky. Think I will give it a try. :mushroom2:

Personally if im gunna trip at night. i wait untill im dead tired and ready to pass out, eat a quarter, set my alarm for two hours from then. Wake up when the alarm goes off and then your mind is allready tripped out, so if feels like an actual dream. Just dont allow yourself to beleive your invincible like i have a couple times, its landed me some scars lol

That does indeed sound interesting, I'm sure if you were still asleep during your peak, you could have some awesome dreams!

i took shrooms before going to bed once...
it was a weird night. i was hoping to fall asleep and enjoy some sort of life changing dream.. but it didn't really happen that way. i spent the whole night half dreaming and half awake. at one point i couldn't tell which was real and which was imaginary. weird weird. all i had to do to start dreaming was close my eyes.
anybody experience this?

I've experienced this without psychedelics. It's just your unconscious "getting out" and projecting the dream before your conscious is able to put you to sleep. I was slumped over a desk taking a nap and after my body relaxed, I felt like I was dropped straight into a dream. I thought it may have been my imagination but the thing about it is that it didn't disappear when I was aware I was imagining it (like a day dream, awareness tends to bring me back to "reality"). I had like 4 small dreams (different settings, themes, chars) within 40mins of sleep. According to something I've read, sleep, that is dreaming is a form of consciousness altering (DMT releases from your brain while you dream)
