What tek is this?

Hey shroomery,
Recently i have spoken to afof and he told me about this tek he is using that he learned when he went to Amsterdam. Ok first you get a wide mouth quart jar and fill up to about 1/2 or like about 1/4 of the jar with any brown rice (whole about 2/3 cups) and then about 1/3 distilled water. Wait for the mycelium to colonize and then using the two piece lids slightly unscrew the lid so the lid is still on top and just spray the lid for moisture when needed. He replaced the lid with a clear laminating sheet that he cut to fit the lid ring so the jars can have light. You don't need any fans or humidifiers or anything just the jars and whats growing in them. Have any of you heard of this?
