i continue my struggle

few days ago i inoculated some oat grains instead of rye
they got contaminated ,due to the lack of sterility in the process
today i will start al over again , this time i will use rye and birdseed
for the sterility i will use asepsol spray .will that be good?
i will inoculate with honey water
i hope to suceed this time ,but if not i will try again and again
by the way rye seems to be litle clumpered but the bird seed seems yust fine
any coment ,any suggestion will be welcomed

If you are a newbie i would conquer the pf tek first then move on to whole grain. just a thought.

i would love to use the pf tek but there is no vermiculite in croatia
so i am stuck with grain,hope it works, well it better does couse i aint gona quit

Just make sure you pressure cook adequately, use a polyfill lid and wipe the needle with alcohol and you should be fine.

i got some growth in all of the yars ,but i can not tell if its mycelium or contam of some sort ,have to wait couple of days and see what turns out
