the pop bottle thing isn't really worth it. just go pay $5 for a huge plastic box of some sort.

Get a glass aquarium. Cost about 10-15$. Then all you need is the plexiglass and some saran wrap. Works great.

Ya also need perlite whic is like $2-3 A BIG BAG. a styro form cooler is usully like 3 dollars and you need to cut a hole in the top and cover it with something clear saran wrap or a clear palstic. You wet down the perlite (let it soak) revove any excess water and then add it to the bottem of your cooler. when you birth your jars take the lids and set them on the perlite and then put your cakes on top of them. after the first flush you can set the cakes directly on the perlite so they will re - hydrate for 2-3 days then put them back on the lids. you will alos have to open it up and fan out the Co2 2 or so times a day. good luck...
