Rainbow gathering 2007

I searched the forums, and there's nothing anywhere about this year's gathering in Arkansas. The site was just announced yesterday (actually two sites, but one seems to be more prominently displayed on www.welcomehome.org than the other...)

Anyway, I would've posted this in travel and gatherings, but my post count must not be high enough to get in there.

Anyone going?

schwagstock is going on just north of the arkansas/missouri border... im going this year. its a weekend of grateful dead tribute bands and other bands... with lots of groovy gathering activities lol. its at a place called camp zoe. sounds fun.

Cool, I may go to that too.

It honestly boggles my mind that the Rainbow Gatherings are not discussed here other than briefly. It just seems that there would be more people here that would be interested in going...but who knows...

I'm very excited to go, just got my plane tickets to Little Rock and car rental all squared away...I really need the disconnect, if only for a brief moment...hopefully it'll be rejuvenating, I can so use that!

I'd like to do another rainbow gathering sometime, but there has been a lot of hassling in recent years.

I think it would be fun to there and put up a sign for mushroom IDs, and maybe make chilli. I'm not going to make it this year though. :frown:

Well, I'll miss the chance to meetcha, brother! But that's an interesting idea. I'd actually love to go hunting at the gathering and see what I can find. Can't wait!

Do people Rainbows/people who spend time with Rainbows use the internet?

I've always found there are two distinct kinds of neo-hippies.

Ones with internet; and ones without. I'll let you decide which group is more informed...
